Justice DY Chandrachud takes oath as 50th Chief Justice of India | India News

NEW DELHI: Justice Dhananjaya Yeshwant (DY) Chandrachud on Wednesday took oath because the fiftieth Chief Justice of India (CJI). He may have a tenure of two years as CJI and demit workplace on November 10, 2024.
President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of workplace of the CJI to Justice Chandrachud on the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Son of sixteenth CJI Yeshwant Vishnu Chandrachud, DY Chandrachud was appointed a decide of the Supreme Courtroom on Could 13, 2016.
