IndiGo to Launch Direct Flights Between Deoghar and Bengaluru

 IndiGo has unveiled plans to launch direct
flights between Deoghar and Bengaluru.

Scheduled to take off on 1 June 2024, the airline
will operate the route with thrice weekly flights on Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Saturdays.

Flight 6E 6435 is slated to depart Bengaluru at 10:05
and arrive in Deoghar at 12:25.

From Deoghar, flight 6E 6437 is timed to leave at 12:55,
arriving in Bengaluru at 15:25.

With these new flights, Bengaluru will become the
fifth destination to provide direct connectivity to Deoghar, after
Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi, and Delhi.

IndiGo is currently the only airline operating from Deogarh Airport
(DGH).

Deoghar, located in the Indian state of Jharkhand,
is a city soaked in religious and cultural significance. It is
home to the famous Baidyanath Temple, one of the twelve
Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, which attracts millions of devotees
every year. The city is also known for its natural beauty, with
hills, waterfalls, and forests surrounding it. Deoghar is a
popular destination for those seeking spiritual solace and a
glimpse into India’s rich heritage.

Strengthening access to India’s Silicon Valley,
Bengaluru provides tourists with increased access to
destinations like Cubbon Park, Nandi Hills, Tipu Sultan’s Summer
Palace, Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, Bengaluru Palace, Ulsoor Lake,
and ISKCON Temple. Bangalore silk, known for its
simplicity, purity and texture, is produced in
Karnataka’s silk farms, which have grown tremendously with the passage of time and the evolution
of the textile industry.
