I was working on my annual Oscar predictions, and I somehow also ended up doing a side project on the films I saw last year. Here’s a snapshot of my film viewing in 2022. I saw a total of 180 films last year, at an average of 15 films a month and roughly 3-4 films a week. My most preferred genre was Drama, 95 films seen belonging to the genre. 93 of the films I saw were in the English language, and 86 of them were from the US of A. Of the 180, only 58 films were actual 2022 calendar releases. The other films were from many years over several decades. The Top 5 films that I saw last year were-
