An unidentified individual has threatened to bomb a government primary school in the Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district of Chhattisgarh. The perpetrator entered the school premises through a window and wrote a threatening message on the classroom blackboard.
The message, written in Hindi, read, “I will destroy all the schools in this village. There should be no school left in Boirdih village. I will erase the existence of primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools. Prepare for the bomb to explode before 15th August in all three schools.”

First Reported Bomb Threat Against A School In Chhattisgarh’s Baramkela
This incident marks the first reported bomb threat against a school in the Baramkela region, leading to an intensified police investigation to prevent any potential harm and restore peace in the village.
The situation is exacerbated by the recent murder of a Congress leader approximately four kilometres away from the school. The murder suspects have been apprehended, but the timing of this threat has heightened tensions in the village.
The headmaster of the school reported the incident to the school coordinator, Jhanjhan Patel, and village Sarpanch, Motilal Chauhan, who then alerted the Baramkela police. Upon investigation, police officers found that the assailant had entered the classroom through a window. Initial assessments suggest the involvement of a local miscreant.
A police official stated, “This is the first instance of a bomb threat to a school in the Baramkela area. While there have been cases of theft in schools, this kind of threat is unprecedented. We are conducting a thorough investigation to identify and apprehend the culprit.”
The recent murder of a Congress leader was attributed to loan-related disputes and the suspects in the murder case have been arrested. The police have assured the public that they are working swiftly to resolve the case and ensure the safety of the schools.
