T.N. has seen an increase in number of tourists: Tourism Minister R. Rajendran

Tourism Minister R. Rajendran on Tuesday said that the number of tourists who visited the State has increased this year when compared to last year. Till July 2025, about 20.35 crore domestic tourists and 7.80 lakh foreign guests have come to the State. The Minister said that from January to December last year, a total of 30.80 crore domestic and 11.61 lakh foreign visitors have enjoyed the unique sights in the State. While addressing officials of the Tourism Department during a review meeting, he said facilities were being provided for tourists under the able guidance of Chief Minister M. K. Stalin.
