In a tragic incident that took place at a shopping mall in Jayalakshmipuram in Mysuru on Monday (September 8, 2025) evening, two persons died after an accidental fall from the fourth floor of the building.

According to police sources, the deceased are Sunil, 28, an electrician, who was working at the mall, and Chandru, 22, who rushed to the rescue of the electrician. Both succumbed to the injuries they suffered from the fall.

While Sunil died on the spot, Chandru is believed to have been rushed to the hospital, but he succumbed to the injuries. Jayalakshmipuram police visited the spot and have taken up an investigation.
