Arts and Science college in Vaniyambadi holds Graduation day

On the occasion, Ms. Sandhya gave degrees to 693 students, including nine gold medalists.

The 25th graduation ceremony of Islamiah Women’s Arts and Science College in Vaniyambadi town in Tirupattur was held.

According to a press release, Sandhya, Executive Director, VIT (Vellore campus), was the chief guest. In her inaugural address, Ms. Sandhya urged the graduating students not to forget the support of their parents, teachers, and the college.

The VIT executive director highlighted the importance of women’s empowerment and cited women achievers like Kalpana Chawla, Infosys Sudha Murthy and Dr. Ida Scudder, founder, Christian Medical College (CMC) as examples of women’s empowerment.

On the occasion, Ms. Sandhya gave degrees to 693 students, including nine gold medalists. College Chairman, M. Ahmed Basha, General Secretary Abdullah Basha, Secretary and Correspondent C. Khaiser Ahmed, and college principal Renu, were present, the release said.
